86 22RE Xtra cab. Any idea what this connector is for? It's got 2 wires, white/black and black/white. I dont have a wiring diagram for this truck.

 

With 2 slots in picture? I think that's receptacle for inspection light that come with some trim (SR5). Search forum for that. Also test if you have 12V between the two slots.

In my 4Runner, I didn't even know that was a receptacle for an inspection light.....until I saw a picture of said light. I was dumbfounded!

I'd like to get my hands on one, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that.....

 

I must have that light, its so cheesy looking I can't live without it.
