Aftermarket (stylish) headlights

Does anyone know of a company that has made aftermarket lights for the 89 toyota pickup? Something better than the standard lights, like a xeon or whatever fillament that makes it brighter. My lights are really dim. Especially the brights.

As a secondary question, does anyone know of any ROUND lights (circular), possibly off another truck, that will fit an 89 toyota pickup? By round, I mean the round style, like on the older toyotas and all the jeeps. I like the round lights Adds personality.

I'm not sure about round lights, but this is what I plan on installing:

Anything extra will be worth the price. You might have to upgrade the wiring harness if you plan on going for a high wattage bulb.

I almost went with the Hella's, I like the fact that you can change the bulbs. The brightest ones I've seen for our trucks are the Sylvania "Silver Stars". I used to run those all the time but I would have to replace them once a year, I got pretty tired of that. I live in Phoenix too so I'm sure the heat here didn't help them last long, plus they run super hot anyway. Super bright though.

Excellent link. Thanks. Which ones should I look at buying? The 55w or what?

Also, why would I want to mess with the wiring? Isn't the standard wiring good enough?

I'm still trying to decide which bulbs I want tot use. It seems to be a pretty personal choice, depending on conditions you drive in. And if you want them to be functional or just have the "blue" look.

If you put a 100w bulb in a spot that was designed for a 55w bulb you may get problems. This link will explain in much better than I could:

Which ones are the blue ones? That's the xenon ones, right? I would prefer not to have those, as those are illegal in some states.

Best to do a quick check of the existing wiring and find out if it is OK or not:

If you are getting a significant voltage drop with the current headlights (55/60 watt most likely), putting in a higher wattage bulb will not do a lot to help. And it is easy enough to upgrade that wiring:

I've run the Hella housings on my '85 for about 10 years now with a set of 55/100 H4 bulbs and the harness above. Makes a nice setup and I don't blind oncoming traffic.
