Where did you mount your CB radio?

Im looking to put a CB in my truck so i can communicate on the hunting club and such where there is no signal for a cell phone...
But i honestly just dont have much room in the cab of my truck to mount a CB where it would be out of the way...

So where did you mount your cb?
Pictures are welcome.

how about getting a Cobra 75 WX ST so you can remote mount the box and have all the controls on the mic?

because of the sheer size of my radio I had to mount mine on the grove box face. Good thing for me the only passenger that is usually in my truck is my 5 year old. lol.

So your telling me...That the mic/speaker plugs into the junction box, which you mount under the dashboard somewhere?
This seems waaaaay to easy...
Do you still have to run the linear to the antenna on the tool box?

it's that simple, and if your running a linear like I am that would just plug in between the antenna cable and that junction box.

I may have to get an external speaker but until then i could deal with just the mic.

I love the feel of having the big box cb, but id love to have more room.

idea just popped into my head, i dont know if it would work or how safe it would be depending on our height, but you could bolt it to the middle of the ceiling... if you could find a way to do that... sounding less and less possible as i think lol

Hahaha ive def thought of that.
Almost like they do in the 18 wheelers.

If i had enough room i would, but i dont really want all of the cords and wires swinging in front of my face constantly haha.

I looked into that as well, but it's impossible on my 87 (not sure on other years) without having the bolts for the overhead sticking out the top of the cab. If the cab was double walled it would be doable.
