I've never spotted a UFO either --yet-- but here's a sweet looking 2 Door Runner for ya...

I've seen about 3 of them... all in she same county, so it's possible that they are the same one but i doubt it.

I really like them... and the extra rarity makes them seem extra-special

You mean the strech CR-V's.... yeeha. Gotta love that mini-van ever so comforting styling that inspires that cute little "awww" response from your girlfriend.

I prefer the "uhhh... thats... why is it so muddy?" Just makes me smile rather then gag.

1st gen for the badass in you, 2nd gen for the common man, 3rd gen for the rich man, and 4th gen for your next ex-wife

Respect your elders....vote for a first gen. Most diversity anyway

Top on/top off
V6/I4/Turbo 4
Solid Axle/IFS
And best yet....they didn't offer a 2wd

1st gens cover everything

Talking

I like th 3rd gen. 2nd gens are alright too. The flat wheel wells on the 4th gen make it look ugly (as in Avalanche).

4th gen is all-around....IMO....a disgrace to the styling of the 4runner....if we wanted to get a minivan...we'd buy a minivan... i hate so many of the new styles...i just dont see what there is to like, they all look....crappy

I was about to post something to the effect of 'Can't we just let this thread die?' but then I read this:

oh and i take back what i said about everything on the 4runner being ugly, it's not NEARLY as nice as the 1st and 2nd or the 3rd, and the front looks good, in some respects, but it's not a 4runner in the asthetic term... it's just not the same with that style...

Ahh the joy of snow. May as well put on the racing slicks heh; & behold the power of the redneck with the 39" swampers.

You got the right idea though. Dig like a sonuvabitch and put down anything that isn't more snow around your tires to give you a start on moving.

Airing down is a good idea in some cases, but if your tires aren't that wide to start out with or the tread is minimal then your not much better off. I would hover around 8psi myself, although the 4Runner's they used to run across antartica ran at 2psi. The tires fell off the rims so often they came up with a fast yet risky way of putting them back on.
  1. Remove Rim
  2. Place rim inside of tire, flat on the ground
  3. Spray lighter fluid inside the tire
  4. Throw a match at the tire and back up a step
The rapidly expanding air caused by the explosion litteraly snapped the tires back onto the rims. I'll see if I can dig up the website somewhere.

Thats why I said 08:00. If I start driving now, I'd be there by 07:30, and have time for gas and what not. Besides, Mt. Hood is so-far worthless and I am coming out on the 11th for a weekend to go boarding anyways perhaps then....
