RC Car "Tint" for headlights??

This isn't really for me, more for my girlfriend's BMW, but I'm curious as to whether ANYONE on here has ever painted there lights with this stuff. It's made for a gun, not that cheapo aerosolized stuff.

Saw it at a hobby shop and the guys there said that everyone comes in and uses the stuff, I was just curious if anyone has seen it firsthand?

Thanks!

Is that stuff already in a spray can or is it for a gun? Do you have some photos of that also?

Thanks.

Its in tiny little cans. I dont think I have any pics of it since I have replaced it since but Ill try to dig something up. I just remember one can will do a small set of lights very dark.

make sure its legal in your area before you tint any parkings or headlights. Its a safety issue so "tint" at your own risk.

I don't understand why you would want to paint your headlights, and make them darker?

i dont think rc car tint is good for tinting lights. i did my tails on my old car and it started peeling/chipping not too long after. if you want to tint the lights i suggest you use smoke vinyl

when you are painting plastic you need to do a good prep job and use a plastic adhesion promoter.
