Learned an important lesson last night....
here's the picture.... i had just gotten off work at about 1230am. its a nice cool summer night, one of those windows down enjoy the cool air type nights... i am driving home, but my ipod had died earlier in the day so the stereo was off... i heard more pops, clinks, clops, clangs, dings, wizzzs and even a couple zhhhzhhhh's coming from both the front and rear end of my truck..... Lesson learned, ALWAYS HAVE MUSIC LOUD ENOUGH TO COVER THE SOUNDS OF A TRUCK'S ISSUES.......

true. I like hearing the songbirds and especially when i hear the mourning dove. I don't know what it is about that bird, but they sound good. No creaks or groans from my truck at this time, it's too covered in mud underneath so i think that suppresses it, he he. I do enjoy the wildlife though. I usually haul my mountain bike around with me so later I can go through all the same terrain on it. It is fun.

I'm still trying to figure a good place to pack mine (bike) where it won't hinder access, or fall on my kids' heads, and won't die if I roll (no roof rides)... but first I gotta get the truck running!!!!!
And yes, Sevendust does rock!!!! usually play it low on the trail tho... I'm intent on what my vehicle is telling me... call it a bit of ocd, but I am always bugged by the little creaks and squeeks unless I know where they're coming from, and what they're telling me.
