just bought a 1985 honda accord, need a little advice

I'm speaking strictly of engines here. Overall as a car company, customer satisfaction etc... nobody beats Toyota.

But with respect to all aspects of engine design... Honda. Every try to start a Toyota generator. Or a Toyota ATV. Or a Toyota lawnmower. Or a Toyota motorcycle? Honda gets a premium for their engines.. wherever they are, because they make better engines.

But I love my Toyotas as well.

ok ive made a decision. i dumped the honda. the new job i just got has me so tired at the end of the day i dont want to mess around with the clutch, so when i get a new car im getting an automatic. im just taking a loss with what ive invested in the honda. my buddy says when he sells it he'll try to make some of what i put into it back for me. thanks for the help of everyone here

To tired to clutch! Now THAT'S tired...
But seriously, when it comes to a standard in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway, I'll take an auto anyday. Those days of needing a standard are gone for me.
