Security Of Nozzle Latch
Jerry cans had been around since the 1930's so OK to resurrect this thread. 
I bought a Wavian 5.3gal jerry can from Zoro because Wavian did not have what I wanted. Can looks and feels very well-made and authentic. However, the nozzle latch does not seem as secure as the cap latch. Do you think it's just because of the slick paint on the latch that will get rougher/worn out and provide friction once used?
