Duplicolor (interior painting)

So I just re-did the interior and was wondering if there is a protective coat I can put over it to keep it from chiping, breaking ect.

I used the vinyl paint and can see some of it coming off on the seats. So what can I add to make this more durable?

You have to make sure the surfaces are real clean. Are you using Adhesion Promoter spray, before putting the paint on?

Correct, I used adhesion promoter.

I'm seeing some scratches now and some peeling. Just wondering if there was some sealer I can use to protect the paint.

I'd have to look at that. Don't want that "shiny" finish.

I am not aware of any sealer but I havent looked. I just use Armor all or something similar and havent had any problems.

Since you are using adhesion promoter, I would think it is in the cleaning stage. That is one area you really have to work at. Even making sure that you dont have any cleaning agent residue left over can cause problems.

Thank you everyone for your replys.

Right now, my only issue is the seat. From getting in and getting out of the truck has stressed the paint. Might be the vinyl rubbing against the plastic molding on the side of the chair.

But, if there is anything out there. I'm all ears.

Next step, rebuild the motor and take this thing to a body shop.
