Driving without rear shocks

What do you guys think?

I have a 97 Tacoma 4wd and the passenger side rear shock mount broke off the frame. I live in rural Alaska and it’s not feasible to have the frame repaired. Should I just remove the other shock and keep driving it for a while? I don’t drive long distances and it’s pretty much on 100% paved. The truck has 230k on it and the frames been repaired once before, it’s basically in end of life care at this point.

please advise

Depends on how you could tolerate a bouncy ride.

If you see this as "end of life care" you should sell it to someone who can fix it and extend its life. If it's a 3.4 you will likely find plenty of interested buyers wanting to do a 3.4 swap on their rig.
no point in removing the other shock, it's at least helping the bounciness a little.
