Best no-welding projects
Hey everybody, I'm 17 I don't have a welder and I don't have a garage even if I could buy one. I know there are a lot of projects, and accessories people have made for there Toy's without using a welder, but I wanted to get it all onto one thread. So post up your Mods and projects that don't need welding. I've seen some pretty cool stuff made where it was all just bolted together. Thanks in advance

I'm 17 too
I know you probably don't need to right now, but i did a cab swap on my pickup, well still in the mist of it, basic hand tools is all you really need.
BJ spacers
Install AC if you don't have
Uh.... swap interior pieces for better ones...
Seat swap.
Some modify the corner, marker, and brake lights.
Just some thoughts for ya, Good Luck!

And of coarse stereo stuff. You have access to any wood working tools?
This is time consuming but not to difficult.

-
Then you can always add more gauges and meters.
-

Most if not all lift kits dont require any welding.
Interior led's
bunch of stuff...

Way to show off to the kids that guy
Just a little advice don't do a bunch of weird cheap hack mods to your trucks, you will hate yourself when you get older. Take your time save your loot and do it all little by little and appreciate what you have done, stare at it and love it.

Yeah that's definitely true, my build is coming along very slowly. Before my 4runner I had a wrangler and I spent so much time and money on that. The things you can do are endless in the end I want a capable truck I can take off-road but drive everyday. The trucks on here are amazing, I have no expierience with Toyota's so its all new to me. Thank you for the advice, as far as BJ lifts it seems like that puts added stress on the BJ. Has this ever been a problem to anyone?

as others have said :lift
also some lockers can be done with hand tools, bolt on bumpers, winch, some hitches....
my list would probably go, lift, tires, lockers, winch .. or winch, lockers... then all the nice to haves.
I should follow my own advice.

Haven't done any welding on my truck. Lift, engine/trans swap, bumpers, front LSD, gas tank relocation etc...

Upcoming plans are stock-length rear lift leaf springs, FZJ-80 rear axle w/Locker (will require a little welding for spring perches, but will be done offsite by a friend, and assembled here), Blazeland long travel front suspension.
