Got any more feedback? I've considered a Weber to replace my rebuilt Aisin. What was the problem?

Just dont have the time to deal with it. I need the truck to run as good as possible as I have a drive to big bear, and snow/wet wheeling planned for the holiday. So yeah, its just not pheasable right now. Ill sell it you.

Got the Aisin rebuilt last night, put it on today, let me tell you, I love it. I preset the idle mixture at what blue bass design said, needed no adjustment, idles at 900 rpm's with no fluctuation or misfire. Totally wicked. Jonny is putting the weber on his 83 right now. Hopefully it brings it back to life.

Aisan carb '80 Toyota motorhome

I disconnected and threw away my aftermarket cruise control. I need a schematic for the vacuum hoses, since one hose needs to be connected on the bottom of the adjustment side of the carb. (red dot on tube) Does this correspond with the red dot on the top front of the carb? I also need to adjust the float again. At cold start it runs fast and when warmed up it will not idle correctly. I tried adjusting the idle and air mixture, even turned the air mixture all the way down. It did not stop running. I believe there maybe a leak. Your suggestions and help would be appreciated. This is before I think about a Redline Weber carb kit. Thanks, Matt

The motorhome is stock Toyota pickup with a 20r and 4 speed with only 17,200 mile. I re-did everything inside and outside. I call it my little beach house on wheels. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I hope to post picture of this beast. I upgraded the rear to a fll floating differential out of a 1989 Toyota Uhaul truck. The Uhaul box was made into a trailer. It has a pull up door, fiberglass reinforced shell, and aluminum floor. The axle is a 3500 lb. Dexter with electric brakes and dually rims, the single rim with two tires that came on the Huntsman motorhome. If you type in Huntsman motorhome you'll understand why I did the rear mod to the motorhome. Yep. The 20r and 4 speed tows just fine. I may opt to put in a 5 speed out of another truck later. The inside of the motorhome is customized. I hope to acquire more knowledge and a better understanding of how members relate to one another and to acquire more friends along the way. Thanks, Matt
