Is the ARB locker switchable?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I have stock 4.10s on my truck right now running 31s, and I was planning on buying the ARB air locker for the front and rear axles. My question is, later, if I were to decide to upgrade to a lower gear ratio (5.29 etc) would I be able to re-use the lockers. Thanks

Yes, you can swap gears on the ARB carrier.

Yes it is completely possible. the ARB has nothing to do with the gear ratio on your rig. Go for it, that way your locked now, and later get the gears you need. although If you can spend a little moer now and do both gear and ARB it will save you money as you need to take the gears out anyway to put the ARB in. so its up to you if you want to save some cash in the long run on labor.

Yep, but you would be paying labor twice for 2 things that can be done at the same time.

Or get fully built 3rds from us and drop them in.

waskilly, your guys' fully built 3rds seem like a pretty good deal, but I just bought these 31s brand new and I would like to get a set of locker's in right away, but If I were to get different ratio (5.29) and still keep these 31s (would not be in my budget to buy the bigger tires or the lifts for the bigger tires) how would the truck drive with the 5.29s running the 31s. I assume that 3k rpms in 1st would be what....35-40kph???. Also I am assuming that the prices on the site are just for a single axle??
