Anyone heard of terraclean?
I was watching "Classic Cars" on speed channel and they had this mini promo w/in the show on terraclean. It's a process to remove the carbon buildup but instead of using chemicals, the process removes the carbon by throwing a negative charge. This way, the carbon doesn't make its way through the motor and exhaust.
I missed the end of the show where they dyno a few cars pre-treatment and post. I've looked up their website but can't find any dealers. Thoughts?

I went to the Terraclean website. They claim that the carbon is burned of and doesn't pass throught the exhaust system. Wow, I can't imagine how that works and they don't really explain how the carbon is burned during the process.

Don't know much about the process, as to where to get it done up here the only people that seem to have it are the dealers. A couple of toyota dealers in town here offer the service but as I recall it is expensive, north of $150.00CAD anyways. But, from what I'm told it really works, gets vehicles through the "clean air" inspection program most everytime.

I did call these guys and there's a shop that has the service about 40 miles away. The MSRP for us is $120.
It seems like a worthwhile process from a PM standpoint, especially for a truck as old as mine. I'm a little leery on the Seafoam treatment, more cause I don't have a place to let the truck smoke for an extended period of time.
The carbon is supposed to be "blasted" away but can't tell you how this works.
