First Thanks for this forum since now it was really helpfull but this time i didnt found what i was searching for so here i am

I'm searching for a wiring diagram of a 83 or 84 toyota P/U with a 22r. I got the one for a 22re but its just too different

I need it cuz i am redooing all my wiring and i got some wire missing and i just wanted to redo everything in a good way

even if its just a scan thats ok... or if you know a manual that got this wiring diagram in it that would be good too!

Autozone has a list of wiring diagrams.
Register for an account (it's free) and then go to vehicle repair guides, then go to chassis electrical..
It'll give you about 50 different diagrams for different trucks.
Scroll down to 83 toyota pickup, and you'll have the under-hood diagram, and dash/cab diagram.

 

couldnt seem to find the diagrams
just sent me to trouble shooting and understanding.
then i checked the chapters on the side and it was for landcruisers and just stuff not really electrical related

Hey, sorry to bust into a old form. But if anybody still needs any good wire diagrams for a 84 toyota pu I can get detailed ones for any part of the truck.
Had to subscribe to the website to have access to it after not finding what I needed. so send me a PM if you need any... figured Id share the wealth

 

i'll take one for an 1987 22r. I registered to autozone but they don't have anything for that truck

Need help please!!!! What emissions parts can I remove from my truck. I want to remove all if I can but obviously the truck needs to run when I get done.. The motor is a 3vz-e. Its a 90 pickup

 

Okay, If it worked I attached a zipped folder with the wiring diagrams from 84 toyota pickup... I dont have access to auto zone anymore... expired. but I saved the files... let me know if it works... It might have to be emailed... its been awhile since I did this

Those wiring diagrams are a pain too...

When I was trying to fix my charging system I printed out all the pages and laid them across the table...

I had problems with the wiring on that truck forever though... Finally parted out another truck and just pulled the whole wiring harness...

i am having trouble finding a good under standing on a 84 pick up i am working on. some one decided to removed a 22r for a bigger engine (Chevy engine) because they wanted more power. never got around it and decided to put the old 22r back in it. some time has passed and they asked me to do the work. engine its in, its all done, truck was missing alot parts including some wiring. i am missing from transmission to starter and to battery. i been searching and i have been thinking to install a solenoid to connect starter to battery but cant figure out my ignition switch wire to hook up to my S solenoid terminal . if any one can help me understand this a little more. maybe i am over looking at this.

 

Wiring is some what of a pain, Does your ignition turn on? If so click it to the on position and then jump a wire from your battery + to the small wire on the starter. if this starts the truck. that wire is your problem. trace it down. I think it goes through a relay. Jumper wires and a volt meter are your best friends.... with lots of time
