Where to buy Brembo rotors - 2000 4runner

2000 4Runner Limited.
Can anyone suggest some online places to buy Brembo rotors?

Are these sold at any of the typical autoparts retailers (Autozone, CarQuest, Napa)?

Also, for rear drums and shoes... is OEM the desirable way to go here? Comments?

Thanks,
Larry

tire rack apparently have some good deals on brembo's. those + oem pads seem to be a good combo. some swear by el cheapo discs..most dont however.

and for the rears..unless your drums are beyond turning...id go with oem pads n autozone drums

You should never put old pads on a new rotor. That can lead to uneven wear.

Just so you have another option to look at:

http://www.performancerotors.com/cat...php/cPath/9_86

I opted to have them slotted for $65 more, add in shipping and my total came to about $175.

I was going to go with a new set of pads from toyota too, but my pads are still about half good, so i'll wait til spring put in the new rotors and pads.

FYI: slotting doesnt do much except dispearse heat a bit better, same goes for the drilled rotors. They also unless done properly ruin the integrity of the metal composition of the rotors.

On my custom vette I run brembo blanks, no slotted, drilled, cryo treated and have been in excess of 150mph and not a thing has ever been wrong with the brakes and rotors. I do run performance brake pads made by hawk though. Still if nascar uses blanks, the local autcross guys swear by blanks and the drag strip guys use blanks it must be for a good reason right?
