2. What does FSI stand for? , dont know either.
3 What does SASed mean? Soild Axle Swap. that means getting rid of ifs and swapping a soild axle on the front of your rig.

IFS is "independent front suspension," as opposed to Solid Axle. You do a SAS to replace your IFS - is that what you were asking?

Thank you very much!

Haha yeah I kinda rearranged the letters there. I did mean IFS. That clears a lot up for me. Thanks guys. Can we start (or maybe there is one already) a "Newb Dictionary"? Lol

I believe it was an option for PreRunners on 05 and up, so it can be a big possibility.

Yeah I just bought the truck a couple months back but it has the "standard" Toyota E-locker. I just assumed all Tacoma/4runners had them... It's helped out already even though I've only had the truck for a little while.

FSI stands for Fuel Stratified Injection, its an new Audi/VW thing. The major advantages of a FSIengine are increased fuel efficiency and high power output. This is achieved by the precise control over amount of fuel and injection timings which are varied according to the load conditions. In addition, there are no throttling losses when compared to a conventional fuel injected or carburated engine, which greatly improves efficiency (only in engines that are not using a throttle plate). Basically, the engine management system continuously chooses between three different modes of combustion: ultra lean burn combustion, stoichiometric combustion, and high power output mode.

But i think you are thinking of IFS, like stated above.

All TRD Taco's came w/ E-Lockers, regardless of 2/4WD. My Uncle had a 2000 Taco PreRunner TRD w/ E-Locker.
