Coilpack Replacement Interval

Coilpack Replacement Interval
I'm planning to do a tune-up this weekend on my wife's 1999 6cyl 4Runner. Received the parts from a vendor who advertised here on Yotatech but now I find myself wondering if it is actually necessary to replace the coil packs. I don't have access to a maintenance manual, so I looked online and couldn't find any additional information. If these don't need to be replaced at 95K miles, then perhaps I should return them.
Anybody know the maintenance interval for coil packs?

Usually replace them when they stop working is the recommendation. But if you've got the new ones and the price isn't too high then it might be good insurance. If one goes and your wife gets stranded at the side of the highway you'll hear about it for a very long time.

As stated above, replace when they stop working.
However, I'd keep them and put one in your junk box or whatever in the back as a "just in case" out on the highway somewhere.... also, if you plan on keeping this vehicle til it dies, you will use them eventually.
