stubborn bolt

stubborn bolt

what are some good ways to get a stubborn bolt out? i have tried hitting it, i hhave used pb blaster and still have no luck. the bolt is on the lower a-arm. i am putting a pro comp susp. lift on and this is the only thing holding me back

1/2" breaker bar, with cheater bar if needed.

sounds crazy, but.... try tightening it first, but not too much then loosen it up, also try a propane torch and heat it up a bit.

if that doesn't work get you some of these :

the nut is already off. if i used a torch wouldn't the pb blaster ignite? it seems like its stuuck in the rubber gromet thing. i used the 1/2 in breaker bar and i used a jack to jack up the handle but it didnt do anything. what about cutting the bolt?

have you tried adding some pressure on the arm with the jack? I am assuming you are on jack stands now. Thank you for letting us know you already had the nut off. As neither of us thought you did.

yes i have tried adding pressure. im not on jack stands..... because i have none, but i have it up on up on my floor jack. and i have the stock toyota jack and another floor jack. i just needd to get this nut off and the lift should be done within an hour and a half.

thats what i was thinking. i just need to go borrow a sawzall. i have a donor truck so i have plenty of spare bolts.
