Zuk sfa is a baby axle compared to the Toy sfa...if you can picture that in your mind.

Now yer going the opposite way! Too strong. LC axles are almost 9". Way too heavy and strong for you.

Unless you're running a 502 Chev, I'd advise against that... I know more about Hiluxes than I do Cruisers so I may be wrong, but I doubt it. I'm pretty sure there is WAY more aftermarket and parts support for Hilux axles.

Again, you've been told, use a 79-85 axle. But depending on year you will need to weld gussets to the axle to keep it from deforming... or warping.

Its probably weaker than your IFS by a fair margin. Your stock CVs have an outer Birfield too... not that that's a good way to predict strength.

Look at it this way, here are some specs, this might help you judge relative strengths.

Curb weight
Samurai: 2095lbs
4Runner: 3760

Engine output
Samurai: 60hp
4Runner: 116/150- 4 cyl/V6

Stock tire size
Samurai: 26"
4Runner: 28" / 31"
