rear coil lift

I'm gonna do a lift on my 1992 4runner. But I'm gonna start cheaper. I'm gonna get the 1 1/2 inch bj spacers to go in the front but i need coils for the back. My friend has a pathfinder and was able to use ford coils in the back of it. Has anyone used other types of coils in the back of a 4runner for a bit of lift? Or do I have to get toyota coils or buy new ones like ome coils? Just wondering if anyone knows. Thanks

Look up landcruiser 80 coils on here. I know Lumpy has used them with success, and
I am sure others have as well.

Thanks Elton, I have read some of those threads but don't pay too much attention since I don't have a second gen.

Ok. I had heard of using the LC 80 coils, How hard are those to find? Also my friend has a set of ford coils left over, any chance they would fit? Is it just dependant on the diameter of the coil or are there other factors to whether they fit or not? I want to have a full coil otherwise the spacers would be a good way to go.

I have the l/c coils on my 95 runner , got em used for about 80.00 , i think a new set is like 150.00 not 100% sure though. they are an exact fit. you just have to look around on the various boards, or vendors.
