Hey bud, i run hawk lts pads and brembo blanks... they work very well. If you want the best rotors, get cryo treated ones. Look up brakes on www.tirerack.com they have lots of options and good prices. The best ones you can get are DBA's... (and some hawk pads to go with them).

As for the shaft... as the other guy said, 99.5% chance it's fine, it's likely just the bearing that's worn, and will need to be replaced. Seriously, i've been on toyota truck forums for 8 years and NEVER heard of this... not one person...
