overheating still!

hi i posted about a week or so ago about my 1997 4runner overheating. I have sence replaced the water pump another new thermostat. and still the same problem. i am at a total loss. head gaskets done about 100 miles ago. i am ready to junk the engine.

What else have you done? Are you sure you got all of the air out of the cooling system? You burped it right?

Sounds like you have a blockage somewhere either in the cooling passages in the engine or the radiator itself. I would stick a garden hose in both and find out which one's clogged. Who did the HG work?

My bet is on a air bubble in the cooling system. Somtimes they are so hard to get out and will make your rig overheat.

have you checked the radiator hoses to see if one might be collapsing ? it good cause restricted water flow. i haven't seen a toyota do it but there is always a first time for everything.

well trusted mechanic do ur headgasket?? ive worked at a toyota stealer and seen some crazy stuff wid people thinkn they can fix there own stuff..ive seen headgaskets put on backwards blocking coolant flow and all..but yea just check make sure all the air is worked out the coolant system

see if your radiator cap is good. an easy fix usually over looked.

Maybe you have a clogged radiator. Have it checked at a radiator shop or just replace it.
