OME springs with bilstein HD shocks?

Hey guys (and girls).
I've got bilstein HD shocks with low K on them (dont really need to upgrade).

I'm looking at getting OME springs and shackles to replace the worn out springs on my truck....
Does anyone know the extended/ compressed length of the stock lenght Bilsteins or OEM shocks?

OME are 9.8" / 15.3" front (5.5" travel)
and 14.1 / 23.1" rear (9" travel)

Wondering if i can get away with just buying the new springs and keeping the billy's...

Thanks....

you can get away with using stock length shocks I did it with 2" springs/longer shackle and torsion crank up front with my procomp es3000's. however your gonna sacrifice a bunch of down travel. At least 2" worth maybe even more depending on what your setup is. (coil spacers, longer coils (ala LC) etc etc).

You best bet is to put the springs on and measure for yourself what your gonna need.

could always go the cheapo route and get those extenders that go on your shocks. i wouldnt but in a pinch for a while it might work

It has been deleted.
And i couldn't find anything pertaining to it.
It's an 89' 4runner, no coils spacers.
I have longer shackles in the back, but springs are sagging so OEM length shocks are fine ATM.

I don't want to order springs, wait a few weeks for them, install them, find the shocks are wrong and wait another few weeks and be down for months.

I'm looking if anyone has any past info with this set-up and can give me some ideas.

If you say they're not long enough, i'll believe you, i dont want to over-extend and rip the shocks apart.

I'm far from a noob, just never seen this setup before...

This is correct - with the OME springs in place, the Bilstiens will limit droop travel, relative to the OME rear shocks. The OME rear shocks compress to close to the same length, but extend further than the sock shocks or Bilstiens, due to differences in internal design.

It depends on how you will be using the vehicle, though...losing some droop travel won't be too much of a big deal if you only rockcrawl and will be keeping the stock swaybar in place...however, if you intend to use it hard/fast, the extra droop will be welcome, and similarly, if you use it without the swaybar and need the extra flex/RTI numbers, the extra droop travel will be missed there too.

When i click the link it gives me some error.

I found lots of stuff on 90-95 4runners but limited info on the older trucks...

I really just want to know if anyone knows the compressed/extended length of bilstein HD's...

If you guys are saying they are shorter... thanks...
