Newbie wants some lift info

newbie here, i have a 93 toyota PU. just have 30's on it at stock ride height, i was wondering what i could and can do to get a little 3 inch lift out of her without spending a pretty penny, i was thinking about blocking the rear end and getting the ball joint spacers that sit between the shock and the upper controll arm, i have always been a honda tech kinda guy but i got the truck wanting to learn more about offroading and gettin a little lift on her, any info is greatly app.

FWIW, try to limit the amount of lift to the bare minimum you need for the tire size you want. This way you keep the center of gravity lower and the truck will be a lot less likely to tip, whether you're on the road or off. Also, stay away from lift blocks in the rear if you can

Measure and see:

13.5" - 14" is stock height:

As long as they are 15" wheels, the above measurement applies. If a larger dia. wheel, adjust accordingly (less 1/2" per inch taller wheel) and if any body lift, also adjust accordingly (1" more per 1" of body lift).

ok well i measured her and shes 13.5 on one side and a little under 13 3\4 on the other.

so now my question is.....

how far can i adjust to, can i take it to 15.5 ? or will it not allow it or is that not a good idea? and how much tightening will it take to get up there, will i touch the underbody before i get to the 15ish ride height or above?

i also took some pics to help. this is the torsion bar setup, looks a lil diff from the other post i read but idealy the same. and it only has one nut up on top.

and this is the close up of the bolt and again the ride height is right at 13.5 and i have about a half inch or a little more before it touches the underbody there.

again thankyou guys for all the help, i know yall have prob seen these threads alot but im just learning and need a lil extra help.

You can probably go up 1.5"-2" with the torsion bars, the higher you go the harsher the ride:

sweet thanks, i might try it and see how she rides, its not my daily driver but ill try it and if i dont like it ill drop it back down and get the spacers, the only issue now is that i have like 1\2inch or more for tightening before the bolt hits the underbody, will i be able to get the 1.5-2 out of it before it hits?

From what it looks like the bolt is stationary and it just pulls the t bar arm down so you should be good. I'm not sure though. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No your right. The bolt doesnt move, just the torsion key inside.

Spray that all down with some good penetrating oil before you try and tighten them.

IF you plan on offroading, you might not want to crank the bars. As you gain ride height, you also loose front end flex.

And if you are going to off road, consider taking out the rear sway bar (for more flex) But off road first to get a feel before you do that....

If you're thinking of running 32's, depending on how far the wheels make the tires stick out, I'm pretty sure you don't even have to lift it.
