well i deided to crank them, didnt even have to hold the top nut, and yes the bolt was stationary and im up at 15 on the ride height, huge noticeable difference, i dont feel or notice any of the harse ride to it, maybe a hair stiffer but thats about it, so now i was wondering about the back, i wanna just level it out at say 15 or even 16. my buddy has some 1 inch blocks, and i also measured on his ranger that both of our U bolts are the same width and will fit, so i think i could just slide a block in there and call it good right? should i go with the 1 inch block or the 2-2.5 block ? thx fellas.

park it on a level surface and measure the height from frame to ground in front and back along the horizontal part of the frame to determine how she's sitting and how much you need. If you only need 1-2" skip the blocks and pick up a set of extended rear shackles - much easier to install and it won't leave you with any wheel hop like blocks would.
2" longer shackles = 1 inch of lift

Hmmm. Careful with the tbar cranking. You're losing front end flex and stiffening your ride significantly once you hit dirt. Good way to wind up airborne (course some folks like it that way ) Usual advice I hear is to install Balljoint spacers and then relax the tbars back to stock height in order to improve flex and maintain low C.O.G.
You can cram 33X12.5s under these trucks stock with nothing more than some pinch weld hammering. I cranked my tbars verrrrrry slightly to get rid of a little rubbing at full lock+flex with low-profile bumpstops.
I seen more than one truck with lift blocks sitting on negatively arched springs over time. Shackles ftw!

ok thx. what height should i go in the rear now, if i do a 2-2.5 will it be alot higher in the rear, cause i do notice at stock height on others the front sits maybe 2in less then the back- OEM. so im wondering what you guys think would be best.
