Wow that sucks I would try and check the fluid level in the tcase before work if possible. Just wouldn't want to be running in 4wd on dry pavement.

There are kits out there for SAS projects. Trail gear make a good one I think. This is one of those questions that really has no set answer. But if you read through a few buildup threads you will probably have more info than you want. Chefyota's build come to mind. He does great write ups and has recently done his. So maybe start there

Cool deal. Is that the kit I need? And it says I need a long driveshaft. Is that stock from something else or do I have to buy it from someone else?

It's cool.

On the link I sent, it says I need a longer driveshaft, a lift kit for the back and the axle itself. I did some looking and a few sits sell the shafts but they are like 300$. I'd love to be able to pull one from a yard or something instead. Lol

OK. I got the steering stabilizer. It should work. Also got some more stuff.

Off road lights, gear oil, one of those big jacks, switch panel,2 u joints, more tools, antifreeze. Will also be getting leafs all the way around and front shocks. Those come tonight.

Think I did good as seeing I only traded a pipe and grinder for it.

Do anyone know if a suburban 1/2 ton axles would fit the yota? He's got some and would like to tinker with my truck. They fit?

It will be way to wide on your yota so you would either have to put a fullsize straight axel up front. Or have it cut down to width. I would pass on it unless you are going to go Dana 44 full size up front. Not necessary for strength unless you are going to go larger than 35's. with a lot of horse power.

Full size straight axle?

And I'm not going bigger then 35s and only HP increase would be from a 3.4l swap...maybe.
