New here with starter bolt question

I came upon this site while trying to find a starter mounting nut and bolt for my 1990 22r. I pulled the starter off about a month ago and now the nut and bolt are gone. Does anyone know were I can buy these or what size they are?

Write down your VIN and go to the local dealer.

They can pull up the blow up diagram and order any bolt/nut whatever.

I just did this at my local dealer Saturday for the bolt that holds on the stiffener plate inside the bell housing as it has a short head and I didnt' feel like grinding down one to make it work. It was easy to find.

Over the phone, unless they know you, they aren't going to be much help and for something like those bolts you are going to have to pay up front for the order anyway.

They are a JIS 10mmx1.25 not sure of the length .Unless some one has messed up the threads and put something else in.

It pays to be on a first name basis with all your local Toyota parts people .

I got the dealer to look them up for me and they should be here today. Will see if they are right. Mine has a stud on top and I just need the nut. The bottom just takes a bolt.
