Changing starter 3vze with headers ?

So every once and a while after a long drive when I shut off my motor and go to restart it the starter just clicks then after a few minutes starts right up , my buddy said its a sign that the starter is failing so rather then wait for it to leave me stranded some where I've decided to replace it , I have the 3vze with Doug Thorley headers and I took a quick glance under there and it looks buried behind the header , has anyone replaced their starter on the 3vze with the Doug Thorley headers on ? Easier then it looks or is it gonna be a nitemare any advice would be much appreciated!!

When I installed DT's on my pickup I noticed it left a lot less room in there... I think you'll be better off removing the headers.
