hey guys im new here, I have a 2005 X-Runner but on sunday im goin to pick up my new truck. 1986 4Runner. it has the 22R in it and its a 4WD 5 speed. And im getting it for only 700 bucks! not too bad for a truck that only needs a tail pipe to pass inspection... anyway i was wondering one thing about it... i could probably figure it out once i get it but i have no patience and wanna know now. How do you remove the top... any pics would help alot... thanx

If you look around the bottom of the top where it transitions from the topper to the main part of the back of the body there are a lot of trim pieces held on by screws. remove the trim pieces and underneath there are bolts. Also in the front alont the top and sides at the transition point between the front of the cab and the topper.
