Ok, so im missing the piece that goes inbetween the door and the hardtop. the wind is blowing snow into the back of my truck at night!! where can i get these pieces, or is there something else i can put on there?







and yes i know my truck was painted, they did a ty job but it was the PO. and its dirty. but you see what im talking about

 

some type of rubber gasket. i wouldnt worry aboot it as the truck looks like its not saddened by the missing piece.

 

It's a rather awkward piece of runbber that goes there.

Get some camper shell tape (foamy black suff) and jam it in there.

 

but it will fall out when the gate comes down. i use the back gate daily.

otherwise, i thing you might be able to use that screw hole for additional securing of it.

the camper tape I've use never fell out, in fact it's an SOB to get off

 

Ahh Boy!!!!!!! I'm gonna have to agree with 19runner86 on this one.

 

there is a gap through and its blowing snow in. i live in a very windy spot and snow is being blown in.

 

Roll of duct tape.
1. (gate up) tear piece of tape off larger than the hole, place over hole rub a bit.
2. to open gate, remove tape place in pocket balled up. lower gate
3. raise gate, from roll in step 1. remove another piece of tape larger than hole. Place over hole and rub on.

All better now.

 

is there anything duct tape can't fix...

the gate needs to come down inorder to take them off. all the ones in my local yard have the window up and i dont feel like dragging a batery in there to test them.

 

take the top off or smash the window out

 

next to duct tape...........nothing a BMFH won't fix
