first off im new to the yotatech site and i would like ur oppinions on if my 1993 toyota ext cab 4x4 22re 5speed would be worth fixing, i bought the truck from a guy and he said it jumped time, but it turned over and everthing with a weak battery and seemed like it wanted to start, i had it put in time and was told that it wouldnt turn with a socket and breaker bar? but i was thinking what could it be and what else could be wrong with the motor? the only ate threw rust is on the rocker on the driver side, i gave 1,200 for the truck clean and clear ky title and with 200,000 miles on it, would i be good to fix it and would i be able to make my money back? any suggestions on any thing here would be a great help thankyou all and god bless!

worth fixing IMO...that is the sort of deal I would look for (If my wife would let me)

First if you count your labor at all you will never get your money out.

You are doing well to break even on just parts.

I myself think you paid way to much but with the devaluation of the dollar I guess it is what the traffic will bare

They sell complete motors for under $250. Just keep watching for a new unit in inventory, and as soon as you see one, run there ready to unbolt the motor.
