Being the steering is totally different, I doubt they are the same.

I drive 200 miles a week or more ... You can see my sig for specifications.

Hands down more enjoyable driving experience than I ever had with IFS. Before and after my bent frame.

Only thing I dont like at the moment is watching the freeway eat my 37's so I'm getting a commuter car together. But if i had $1600 sitting aside for new wheels n tires I wouldnt be bothering with a commuter car hehe

If you SAS you have to go to crossover or highsteer. Wouldnt make a lick of sense salvaging a PS box off an 85 just to retain stock steering that is horrid.

Oh and as wabbit said, you set toe 1/8" in and never touch it again. My truck drivers absolutely straight. I never got my IFS that good, doing it myself or having a professional alignment shop do it. I can almost make it from exit 111 to 109 here in Lacey, WA without touching the wheel, but the road starts to deteriorate towards exit 109 hehe

Be sure you have your axle and the knuckle balls trussed, because if they get bent out of alignment (which isn't as hard as you would think!), you're done!

It's an 85 axle (so the full length lower truss), has the full upper truss and knuckle ball gussets (Marlin)... as well as the differential armor.
