97 4 Runner
I had a question for anyone... I have a 97 4runner4x4, and I have no idea about anything dealing with it other than a V6 and 5spd. I have read on this site about factory lockers and all of this but i'm new, and don't fully understand. Is there a website that I could go to to type my VIN # in to get my vehicles factory details ?

Bump...
Not sure about the VIN website, but if you could tell us what your hopes and dreams are relating to your vehicle, we can certainly point you in the right direction.
Also, liberally use the search function! Guaranteed someone has asked it before.
Also, welcome to YT

thanks for the welcome ! I want to run 33's or so and go on rides where I don't have to worry about if I am pushing stock parts too far, understand. I still want to daily drive but have the capability to do whatever I want off road too. the trails look about like the pic. under your name ( white 4runner, JGM ), thats about what I am looking for, but I can't find anything in the way of lifts.......hope you can help my stock nightmare out! thanks

ETSU,
welcome ot the forum
there is no such site that will give you the details of your truck by punching in your VIN. just have your vin handy and call toyota usa's customer service #. you can find that on the web.
re lifts: read the lift FAQ as well as the locker faq in the offroad tech forum. search, search, search! there is sooo much info on it on the forum. search "tundra coils" for starters.
