well my truck runs rich with the stock air intake and paper filter as is. which way do i have to turn the stock afm dial to get more air?? i dont want to leave an open filter incase i dip into something deep

well it seems to run rich right now heavy exhaust fumes blackened tailpipe slugish at low rpms, with the rv cam DT header 2.5'' flowmaster and no cat. by turning that dial clockwise will allow more airflow??
