leaf springs

my 80 toyota needs some front travel baddd...wondering if i could take rear leafs and run em up front...are they too long...or what...and i want to build up the rear leafs...and was wondering...what would be the best springs to take leafs from..or if there are any out there that match a 80 yota 4x4's length/width and so on...thanks for any info..(not wanting to buy lift kit just yet)

oh you think you need front travel?!! you have obviously never wheeled with ifs! haha i dont see why you couldn't run the rear leafs up front, if you had to move the spring hangers back you could... given that you weld or know someone who does.

i have rears up front in my truck and they work great but you need hysteer to run it because i dont think it will work with stock steering. also it moves your axle 3-4 inches forward and gives about 3 inches of lift
