Just pick up a 2dr 1990 runner

Wow this truck is amazing.. More than 425000kms and it drove across the city with low coolant and an empty fuel tank.. I picked up for 400$ but I would have to say its worth alot more to me now already...

So anyways I have a few questions.. I cant figure out how to fold down the rear seats...

wear to mount a license plate...

I also don't know about the hatch, when I put in the key I hear an electric motor but nothing happens..

This is a canadian 2dr!

Hmm, Pictures of the new rig ??

Around the top outside of the seats there should be a little knob to pull.
you have to get the bottom of it folded foward first though.

the plate should mount on the tailgate...all i can say is wait till it gets lighter outside and look harder.

4crawler.com/cheaptricks Will have some info about 4runner rear windows and there common relay problems.

I looked some more and found that the parts missing on the tailgate is the spare tire mount.. The truck I bought original had the swing one with the license plate mount on it, but all I see is the holes left behind from were it was installed at one point in time.. I take it the mount is hard to come by?

this is all I have right now...

Yah its a 5sp and it must be lifted.. I got passed by 4 other runners while delivering this to my mechanic and they were low.. I don't know how high the lift is thought...

The muffler is blown open so it was extremely loud driving it, im so lucky I only saw to cops and they left me alone!

There Is quite a bit of rust so I think I might try cleaning that up a bit and installing flares. I will try and rhino line the whole truck in the same or near the same color.

the swing out tire carriers are not hard to come by at all, in fact, a couple members that have attempted to do a retrofit, have bought thte carrier and then gave up after realising that its a LOT of cutting and a lot of work...

Stick your hand in between the butt and the back rest and there is a little loop you pull to release the bottom part of the seat. Its right in the middle, one on each side. Like mentioned above, a knob on each side of the top of the backrest should release those.

Nice rig! I like the color! A lot!

haha I bought the truck from sprocket... LOL he took the rear arm hmmm I wonder if I should give him a call and ask him if he is still using it

He bought the truck for parts but I guess he didn't use them... I found the truck for sale on another forum but didn't expect to see him here.
