Newbie Question

Quick question... as I am new to this forum... I tried the search with no success.... I just purchased a 94' runner.... It seems to be in great condition from my mechanical knowledge base... however... IS it normal for the oil pressure gauge to fluctuate while pressing gas petal(raising guage) or releasing gas petal (lowering gauge) on these trucks..???

BTW... I'll throw down some pics when I get a minute...

Thank you!

Yeah. Simply put, with higher revs, the oil pump is pumping faster. Faster = more pressure.
