How do I get the codes out

How do I get the error codes out of my 1992 4runner?

Jump t(e)1 and e1 in the diagnostic block. Watch the CEL blink.

I didn't see the codes on there. I am looking for a list of what the code numbers mean.

If you read the page linked to above you'll find:

Notes:

* Once you have found the diagnostic test connector, just insert a short piece of wire or even a bent paper clip into the contacts and turn the engine on (do not start it) and read the code(s) by counting the flashes of the Check Engine light.
o Here is a good article on the procedure to the later '80s and early '90s pickups and 4Runners.
