help sorting through all the info

i dont know if this is the right section to put this.
I have been doing tons of research on this forum and pirate for my 87 four runner. I plan on sas some time hopefully this year. any way. it currently has a bj spacer in front shackle and 3" block in back and 33x12.5. i bought the block cuz it was cheap and wanted to see what it would look like. i plan on getting some 63s pretty soon for it. i carry quite the load of tools in the back.
so heres my dilema.
I didnt want to buy gears till i do the sas swap. but then I read all the info about putting ifs thirds in rear or v6 thirds in 4cyl axles blah blah.
if i by gears for the front can i reuse them when i go sas and swap thirds. id rather not buy gears twice.
I grew up wheeling with my dad. that stopped when he got remarried and i never really got into it. now i want to. i dont really have anyfriends that do it. so im not gonna be super hardcore trail only. this is at the moment my daily driver.
this is my project. take a look if you like the guest password is friends. dont flame me for it lol we all have your hobbies.

heres some pics of the runner to make it better.
i also read that you can use wagoneer axles in front. they are wider than the older straight axles. id rather not run spacers.

before with just shackle.

Dude, you in washington? I recognize that last pic from craigslist ads, white tailgate with a fire dept sticker on it?

If you buy gears for the front you won't be able to re-use them for the SAS. The rear third and front third are very different.

Front

Rear

basically, you need 2 of the rear thirds if you are going to SAS your rig.

Welcome to YotaTech, thats a nice 4Runner. I would wait on the gears until you do the solid axle swap. The gears in the ifs fron axle are 7.5'' and the gears for the solid axle and rear end are 8'', so you can`t swap the gears from the ifs front to the solid axle.

ok.cool.
yeah i never sold it. couldnt bring myself to it lol.
as you can see ive been here over a year doing research lol
i swear ive seen post or sigs that say ifs rear or some crap.
anyway.
the direction i want to head for this truck looks like yours myyota. i want to run 37x12.5s 63s rear and sas the front.
full tube front and rear bumpers with tubes going around the fenders connecting all the bumpers and sliders together.
and i just read the waggy axles drop on driver side so thats not gonna work.
am i stuck with having to run spacers when i sas or is there a year axle from another rig that matches the rear width on 86-95 trucks.

Thanks man, if you have any questions about anything thats been done to my truck just let me know. The picture in my signature is old, i have the front bumper on and the lights and grill in place, but i don`t have the rear bumper installed yet. I would like to post a few pictures, but no matter how much i try and figure out how to do it, it never works.
