Help me put this together please I want this to run again I'm just an idiot
I need help with this Kipa carburator from Amazon, and where the emissions and fuel lines go my friend keeps saying he'll help me and then he keeps on disappearing and I'm about to lose my mind because I didn't mark well enough and then there's also different ports. Including two I just flat out don't remember. And then the yellow capped ports from the standing on the left side of the truck there's an extra port and I don't know where it is supposed to go to but it's the top right one. If you see anything else please tell me I'm about to pull my hair out and shove it in one of those ports and drive to AutoZone and straight through their window. No I'm not frustrated. The tops pics a general view the rest are specific
That double Port I don't remember where they come from or go to the bottom of the EGR valve or assembly I don't know where that goes and then there's an extra port with those yellow caps from my old carburetor
First and foremost, we need to know what year, what engine in this case 22R, does it have Federal emissions, California emissions, etc. Is it a manual or automatic transmission? Does it have AC or not? As much information ABOUT your truck as possible. Help us help you.
If you look, most of us put that kind of information in our signature, so everyone else can refer to it rapidly and easily.
Does your truck still have the vacuum diagram on the inside of the hood? It should be upper left side when the hood is open. If not, once we know the year and emissions standard you're operating under, we can perhaps find a copy of the vacuum diagram for your truck.
You can save it, and print it out when you need it. I found one for each of my 87's, printed them out large size, and laminated. When I need them, I just carry them out and away I go.
Finally, you may be able to find a copy of the FSM for your truck on the forums. That would tell you what goes where. Not the exact routing, perhaps, like the diagram on the hood, but at least a what goes where map. Then you can figure out what size vacuum line to use and where both ends connect.
Maybe not super helpful, and I'm sorry, but it's the best I, personally, can do.

1985 pickup base 22r engine. I have a disability, hard time with comprehension and I sleep less than an hour a night so no memory. Sorry about that, it really makes ˟˟˟˟ so inconvenient for others I feel bad

Hey, no problems.
We all have our own troubles, and disabilities, trust me on that. Don't worry about your memory. Just re-read things every time you need a reminder BTW, I forgot to mention, welcome to the forum.
Which reminds ME, did you look for the vacuum diagram sticker on the inside of your hood, like I mentioned? If you do have one, can you maybe take a picture of it and put it up here for us? It would be a huge help.
Now, let's see what we can dig up for vacuum diagrams for you.
There's 3 diagrams, all slightly different. Can you look around your engine carefully, and see if some of the vacuum lines shown in the diagrams match those your engine has? If you find one that matches mostly, that's probably the one you need. You just need to look and see where the lines you don't know go, if you understand.
Any more help you need, just let us know. This thread, or, if you have another problem, go head and start another thread, and we'll do our best to help you out.
