the hell are these blocks for?!?!

85 truck with a 2"? spring lift and theses weird little blocks or plates front left and rear right about a half inch thick for no reason! sits level and rides fine enough for a backwoods rig but I have no clue what the purpose is, ubolts look newer but that's about it. the opposite ends of the axle don't have them either

Those are lift blocks. Seems weird that they are in the front left and right rear position though. Maybe your springs are in the wrong corners?

if that's the case then where can I get replacement springs but stay the 2ish inches over stock? the front block is still a small bit thinner than the front tho which raises another question

Driver side (I think) uses a small spacer (block) to level out the truck. I believe the perch sits lower due to perch on passenger side riding against the pumpkin. Most lift companies don't make a left AND a right side spring to compensate, so they throw in a spacer since their left and right springs are made to the same specs.

I couldbe way off on this, but I seem to recall hearing this somewhere.

In regards to the rear block, one spring probably sagged more than the other so someone threw in a block to level it out. Just a guess.

simple enough. anyone know where I can get some mildly taller springs? I don't like blocks especially in sand
