Fuel Tank Relocation

I Have A 84 Reg Cab Short Box Truck. Have Recently Put 63 Inch Chevy Springs On The Rear And Now When I Flex The Drive Shaft Rubs The Stock Fuel Tank. I Am Planing On Moving It Behind The Rear Axle Between The Frame Rails. Need Sum Ideas On What Tanks Out Of Other Vehiles Will Fit To Save Money Or Maybe Sum Type Of Fuel Cell. Concerns Of Overall Depth And Keep Fuel Level Sending Unit Working. Maybe Sum One Has Done This Already. Thanks

out of an old ford f series! they sell 2 19gallon tanks like this! I recomend the one with the bigger hole for the sending unit.

I Am Currently Fabing A Flat Bed And Bobbed The Frame About Six Inches Maybe Building My Own Is The Only Option The Stock One Will Not Quite Work The Way I Wanted. Need One About 30 To 32 Inches Wide 18 To 20 Thick 8 To 10 Inches Deep

could always put in a fuel cell in the back, build it yourself or from like summit or somthing. Only thing i want to change with my setup is pump to external just for ease and so I dont have to dig into the tank ever! Ive got a new MSD pump just waiting to be put in. Aside from that I love it in the back like it is now.

same with my chevy 1500'b but easier to work with aspcialy on the trail which I do with mine only. I dont want to drop the tank just to replace it if it goes thats why. Ill get past the sound of it! My motors loud enough too so I doubt Ide even hear it aside from when I turn the truck on and off
