Arrow fuel problem

hi,
i just got a 91 pickup for dirt cheap so here i am.
it has a few prob's.
1. It only gets fuel while the starter is being cranked. i temp jumped the fuel pump so its always on when the ignition is on but i'm wondering what the real fix is here. i had a sim prob on my 93 jeep xj and that was just a broken resistor on the firewall. i don't exactly know how these yotas are though yet so any help there would be appreciated.
2. after it warms up the idle starts jumping around. whenever the clutch is depressed or its in neutral it jumps from 800 to 1500 every second back and forth.
3. this makes me feel like an idiot but how the hell do you change the wiper blades? is there some kind of clip between the wiper bracket and wiper that locks the pin in? i was trying to change it in the dark and had no luck.

thanks for any help.

1. If the fuel pump test jumper helps:
That means there is an issue in the Air Flow Meter Fc contact circuit, as that is what would normally keep the fuel pump running:

2. Sounds like your Throttle Position Sensor idle adjustment is off:

3. I usually just change out the blade itself, not the whole wiper arm. Or wait for daylight and see how the clip is holding things together.

The Air Flow Meter controls the fuel pump so if the flap is closed the fuel pump won't turn on. you can check it by using a screw driver to open the flap and the fuel pump will cycle while the key is on.

The wipers are help on by a tab. A small screw driver should be able to release them.

is the afm half working somehow cuz it starts, but it dies soon after its not cranking. or is there a dif relay that turns on when its cranking? im gonna test it tommorrow hopefully.

also i tried lowering my idle a bit to see if that helped with the idle issue and when its turned all the way in it still idles at around 900 rpm. so im guessing from. but i'll check the tps tommorrow too.

and yeah there is no clip on these wipers, you have to change just the blade or get a wiper arm with the bracket on it. but the screws on mine are corroded in place.

thanks for the help guys.

so i was checking out the exhaust today to see where it was leaking and i noticed the o2 sensor was jsut hanging by the wires. looks like the po removed it and just let it hang there. this seems to help for now, but i havent done any trips longer than a few miles.

nvm, idle prob is back. at least people cant hear it as bad now. also i noticed it started while i was at a stop light this time is jumped once then again like 30 secs later then again 15 secs later than the intervals just kept getting shorter and shorter. could this have to do with running the truck with that jumper for the fuel pump?

Fuel pump jumper only ensures the fuel pump stays running, won't affect the idle. Likely the idle speed is still too high:
