frame swap 88/85

Hello, i am new to this forum, i had a few questions... you see recently i found out that my 88 toyota has a tendency to run over scion xb's, and my frame has been kinked, time for a frame swap... i found an 85 frame that would be ideal to swap, because not only would i have a straight frame, but i wouldnt have to spend time and money doing a SAS. What i was wondering is, will my 88 reg cab shortbed cab and bed bolt onto the 85 frame no problem, or will i have to fab some mounts???

Okay, and as far as mounting my 3.0L, can i just move over the mounts from my 88, or is welding required?

i've done a swap from an 89 4 runner to an 85 frame, the 85 frame never had a 3.0 in it, so mounts will be needed, i got mine from offroadsolutions, who is now closed, so you will need to fab something up.
And make sure you use the trans crossmember from the 3.0, and i had to wallow out the holes a little bit.
I think that was the only major problems I had.
