Well my truck still has the rusted box on because i dont wanna take it off and not have the brackets to finish the job. however what i can do is describe the problem to a greater extent. The metal box thats on the truck has 4 brackets welded to the box that attach to the frame, I need to make up this gap because the fiberglass box doesnt have a gap between the bottom of the box and frame. I dont know if this helps describe it at all
but it may.

Are you talking about the bracket off the frame that the bed bolts down onto or the boxed supports under the bed?
If the frame brackets, there are 2 pair up front, one pair in the center (pictured below) and then in back the bed just bolts to the frame rail:

Well I know I have a original Toyota fiberglass box and I need the spacer between the bottom of the fiberglass box and the frame which the Toyota fiberglass box bolts to the spacer and the spacer to the frame I picked the box up and didn't realise it didn't have them and didn't remember to

Pickup and 4Runner frames are quite similar. Main difference is back of the 1st 3 pair of body/cab mounts. 4Runner will have 2 more pair of mounting brackets, pickup will have 4 more pair. Brackets weld to the frame then bed bolts to those. Picture above is the bed mount bracket and bolt by the rear wheel well.

Might give Corey at Toyota Fiberglass (http://www.toyotafiberglass.com/Truck.htm) a call and see if he has something that will work. Probably a good chance your bed came from there.
