exhaust header question

im doing a engine swap to my 95 22re. I purchased a pacesetter header before reading all the horror storys. so im gona play it safe and have the flange resurfaced and use a good gasket. My question is, what is the pipe that connects to the header? i have to extend it somehow and its alum tubing.. any help would be apreciated...

Which pipe? the one AFTER the header? When I put my Pacesetter header on, I just redid my entire exhaust, so the shortness of the pipe that goes after the header didnt matter. It was only like 1/2" too short for me.
What you can do it cut off the exhaust hangers and reweld them on in different spots.
BTW. I bought my Pacesetter used, and havent had any problems...yet ..almost 6K miles I think..
