From: Nashville TN. I can help you if you're close BUT NOBODY CAN HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FILL YOUR LOCATION IN!
What I do is drop the front shaft at the transfercase only... Then coat hanger or wire it up out of the way.

Then, depending on AT or 5speed...


Drop the tranny. 8 17mm x member bolts.

Remove the bellhousing bolts... starter...

Jack tranns right back up, and only put 2 bolts back into it. All it's doing is holding the tranny up.

Remove engine.

To put engine in:

put as many bolts as you can in it, then drop the tranny again to put the top 3 17mm's back in...

reinstall 8 17mm x member bolts.

From: SE PA.
I removed intake and right side fuel rail(left fuel rail with body) left slave cylinder in place clutch will stay with engine . long extensions and swivel socket got top tranny bolts. do not know what they were thinking with starter.
