93 4wd 3.0L engine removal

I need some advice! I'm taking the 3.0 out of my 93 4wd, I have it pretty much ready to come out, just need to unbolt the clutch slave, and serperate trans, and here is where I need the all knowing knowledge of the Yotatech gods. "yes is am a master B.S.er" What i need to know is can I seperate the engine without having to move the trans at all, or do I have to unbolt the drive shaft and slide the trans back? any help would be appreciated.

I have accutally already removed all the trans bolts, unless there is one at the exact top of the bell housing? i have already removed the two on either side at the top, it was a pain but a few extentions and a uni- joint took care of those.

I just pulled my 3rz tonight. Unbolted all the trans -> block bolts. Lifted the hoist to where the chain was tight, placed jack firmly underneath trans, pressed the clutch once and they seperated. From there just hoisted the motor out with guidance by hand to avoid accessories and wires.

yeah i just got it out over the weekend and it completely suprised me at how easy it came out. now i've got to replace the engine bay due to a minor wreck by the previous owner. don't ya just love drilling spot welds. to get the front crumply zone out.
