Elocker gear question

Hey guys, just wondering if my 93 v6 4runner 4:10 gears can be used on an elocker with different gears? Is there any difference in the v6 ring and pinion throughout the years? The elocker is out of an Fj by the way.

Thanks

8" is 8" R&P
It's the setup kits and bearings that are different.

Maybe it would be more economical to wait for a 4:10 elocker to surface?

I have a question I plan on doing the 2inch suspension and 2 inch body lift and swapping out my third member but I want to know if a ez locker is required or if its just a preference to Install one

Anytime you lift a Toyota, you have to put lockers in the differentials. It says so in the FSM...

It's preference and sometimes necessity, depending on how hardcore your methods of offroading are.

Will a complete rear end out of a 4runner fit in 88 pickup ? And if it does what are the differences? If anyone knows

Later model Runners are coil spring rear, whereas pickups are leaf sprung. The 3rd member will interchange on certain years, but the whole diff assembly would require cut and fab work.
